One of TCN's primary purposes include the successful interaction with local and state governments. We are there to influence favorable legislation, ensure harmful bills or ordinances do not become law, advocate for essential services at Blind Creek Beach, help reduce the impacts visitors have on the natural environment, and represent the best interests of naturist beach goers.
As advocates for Blind Creek Beach, TCN's current list of objectives include:
Other on-going TCN projects include: beach clean-ups, printing of information, this website's establishment and its continued maintenance, production of collectable items displayed on this page, as well as continued communication with elected officials, key county staff, and sheriff's deputies. The list is endless. It's all carried out by a group of dedicated volunteers and a committed board of directors.
So when you visit Blind Creek Beach's nude beach and appreciate its continued pristine state, consider donating. Or better, become a member of the Treasure Coast Naturists (click here to go to our membership page). TCN, along with its subsidiary "Friends of Blind Creek Beach", is working hard so that you can enjoy this special place naturally.

Gear, Donations & TCN's Work Plan
When you visit Blind Creek Beach, you will likely encounter our information table near the trailhead as it intersects with the beach. Our volunteers conveniently locate here so that the uninitiated newcomer can obtain helpful and immediate information regarding the naturist status of the beach and its continued ecological preservation.
You will also see that the Treasure Coast Naturists (TCN) are offering souvenirs and gear that capitalize on the unique qualities of our nude beach. Whether you wish to acquire bumper stickers, decals, nude beach advisory signs, or license plates, your thoughtful monetary donation and/or TCN membership payment helps our group remain self sufficient and a viable not-for-profit organization.
To carry out these functions, TCN does not qualify as a tax deductible "501(c)3 non-profit", which prohibits all political activity. We are indeed an active political group that furthers naturist interests and helps protect Blind Creek Park. That particular type of entity is governed under the "501(c)7 not-for-profit" IRS designation.
What has your donation and/or TCN membership furthered? A direct outcome of fund raising for TCN are the portable toilets located in the Blind Creek Beach parking area. Click here to read more. Local government did not place those facilities there. TCN arranged their installation and continues to pay the bills.
Other TCN projects benefit from your monetary and membership involvement. As a result of TCN's lobbying local government, in the spring of 2016 St. Lucie County installed an information kiosk near the parking area's entryway to the beach trail. In addition, signs prohibiting people from entering and disturbing the ecologically sensitive dunes have recently been installed.
